Off we go...

Thank you for choosing to join me on this journey. I am so excited to see what God is going to do in our church, our ministry and our lives. For my part, I commit to putting at least four of my quiet times up here each week, with encouraging words whenever I can get them up.

Already one of you called me and said "thank for kicking me in the butt." I choose to view it as extreme encourage to do what you already want to do...spend time with God.

Hopefully you have seen in me these past months the evidence of spending time with God on a daily basis. I think I've missed less than 10 days this year...which I say not to brag, but to encourage you that it is possible.

If you want the accountability, reply to this blog and tell us you are joining the journey. Feel free to just sign it with your first name and last initial. Thanks to those of you who have already told me you are up for the challenge.

My prayer is this: God bless us by changing our lives and deepening our relationship with you!
